Food is as important when experiencing Korea, as is the country’s long cultural history. Food – how we make it, how we eat it, and how we share it – is really the cultural embodiment of where Koreans come from, and who we are today. The food offered in Seoul is perhaps even more diverse and with a more complex history, than the cultural monuments of the country.
The country’s rich cuisine should be experienced and enjoyed, in order to really understand Korea. However, it's not always easy to get this information yourself without being about to speak Korean and know the right places for the authentic flavors. This is why I decided to provide food tours of the neighborhood I grew up in. I am here to help and look forward to meeting you on your visit to Korea.
