Great health allows us to show up stronger for ourselves and our family. Food isn’t just calories, it’s information. Every bite we take is telling our genes and cells how to act. We believe it's important for us to bring back the connection between what we eat and how we feel, so we are taking the first step.
Nature has used the same nutritional code for vitality for a long time. If you break the rules and deprive your body of the nourishment it needs, your skin doesn't glow. You lack the energy to show up stronger for yourself and your family. We also understand that we live in a world where we are constantly on the go. That's why we put together a better, easier way to get all the nutritional goodness without the hassle.
Our cooking studio opened, based in Seoul, Korea, opened in 2011. Our nutritional experts provided 1-on-1 health consultations to determine the optimal health plan. Our culinary chefs got to work tailoring custom recipes to the needs of each patient, and preparing the foods in our cooking studio.
Over time we noticed recurring patterns in the recipes. We also observed how it was hard for some patients to find the time in their schedule to shop for ingredients, prep and cook the recipes. And this is how our soup line was born. It is said that souping is the new juicing.
As a Seoul-native, Janet spent much of her childhood watching and aiding her mother and aunts prepare traditional dishes and cherished family recipes, the very memories that anchored her love for Korean cuisine.
Janet moved to the United States in her her early twenties, committing thirty years to promoting Korean cuisine and further perfecting her culinary expertise. She worked with world-wide organizations including the UN to promote Korean food and culture and attended the Natural Gourmet Institute For Health and Culinary Arts in New York City in 2005.
Janet returned to Seoul in 2011 to open a cooking studio and food tour company with the mission to help visitors from all over the world explore the best flavors of the city and local hot-spots.
